Preliminary Election Results

Lib - 59 - 38.0%
PC - 27 - 31.2%
NDP - 21 - 24.3%
Grn - 00 - 4.9%

Three ridings are still too close to call.

Parkdale, where the NDP is ahead of the Liberals.
Beaches, where the Liberals are ahead of the NDP. This flipped while writing the post.
And Thornhill, where the Liberals are ahead of the Tories.

This is one of the few majorities in Ontario won on less than 40% of the vote. Compare this to 1990

NDP - 74 - 37.6%
Lib - 36 - 32.4%
PC - 20 - 23.5%
FCP - 0 - 2.7%

Compare to the last two elections

2007

PC - 26 - 31.6%
NDP - 10 - 16.8%
Grn - 00 - 8.0%

2011
