"Politics is the skilled use of blunt objects." - Lester Pearson
What ever happened to a big tent. I assume Dan Mcteague is now unwelcome as well.
Mhm, that's what I say. I don't agree with their position but ffs, if they have something to contribute and they're not single-issue, subversive a-holes, let them join. In other words, if they're Derek Lee, they're fine. If they're Tom Wappel, then we've got issues.

Overall, having a pro-life candidate run in a progressive riding like the Danforth (it's been held by the NDP for most of its history -- Bob Rae held it back when he was a federal NDP MP) makes as much sense as having an candidate who called Israel "a death trap" run in Thornhill. ***As for the Liberals for Life.... it'll be interesting to see if the Liberals for Life tries to revive and take over the party. The delegates back in January confirmed a reproductive health policy. There would probably be a bit of a push-back with current memebers.
