Pat Buchanan on... whatever this BS is

"As the faith that gave birth to the West is dying in the West, peoples of European descent from the steppes of Russia to the coast of California have begun to die out, as the Third World treks north to claim the estate. The last decade provided corroborating if not conclusive proof that we are in the Indian Summer of our civilization."
This is, apparently, how Pat Buchanan's new book, Suicide of the Superpower: Will America Survive to 2025?, begins, according to the Drudge Report.

I just have one major question for Mr. Buchanan: Since when were Latin Americans not considered "peoples of European descent"?

If the idea is that those with European cultures/features/bloodlines are dying out, does this mean that all the cultures of Central and South America, which are heavily Christian and based off of the cultures of two European nations called Spain and Portugal, aren't descendants of Europeans!?

'Cause if you ask Pat, it's pretty clear that he doesn't think those peoples are dying out - instead they're going to 'trek north' to claim the estate (wtf?).

Yeah, I know Pat - the truth is always more complicated than it seems. Except for the fact that apparently only white folks count as "European descended." Makes one wonder what you think of African Americans....

Anyways, I could dissect every snippet the Drudge Report shows of this book, but... it's just hilariously pathetic. I actually laughed. How did this guy manage to get any sort of recognition for anything?
