Bizarro World BC

Because where else can you find a provincial Liberal Party attacking the leader of the Conservative Party - for not being conservative enough!?

Granted, the BC Liberals are not your standard definition of "liberal," but are instead a coalition of liberal-conservatives who want to ensure BC is pro-free-enterprise, in opposition to the BC NDP (guess which side of the divide they're on).

And, of course, this is how politics in the province works. It's how the Social Credit dynasty worked. Heck, there was a Liberal-Conservative coalition at one point.

Still, it's damn weird to see that site. I'm glad good ol' Ontario has its well defined ideological and partisan lines.

  1. I'm glad good ol' Ontario has its well defined ideological and partisan lines.

Back when Bill Davis was premier, the combination of his Red Tory PCs plus the NDP on the left forced the Ontario Liberal party to campaign from the right during the 70's.

Don't feel bad if you forgot this, because I'm sure Hudak doesn't recall how the Ontario Tories kept winning government time and time again back during the Big Blue Machine days. If he did, he wouldn't be running on anti-immigrant political ads and chumming around with the the OLA and religious zealots.
