Potash decision "didn't involve politics"
Yeah, I believe you Tony - I'm just amazed at how quickly your nose has grown recently.
Seriously, for Clement to even bother putting out such a statement makes me wonder even more how much politics played in the Potash decision. How could it not? There was such a groundswell of support against BHP's bid and we all know the government's original stance was leaning in favour of the deal going through. If politics wasn't a factor in the decision, what was? The Conservative's penchant for defending Canadian industry? Ha.
Ah, well. Politics aside, at least what appears to be the right decision was made, in the end. Can't complain much about that.
