If you've yet to receive the notice, there's a rally for Liberal candidate Tony Genco in Vaughan this coming Thursday. Liberal Leader Michael Ignatieff will be on hand to help kick off Tony's campaign, as will be provincial cabinet minister and Vaughan MPP Greg Sorbara, highlighting the fact that in Ontario, a Liberal is generally a Liberal, either way you put it, one of the things I like most about this province (among others!).
It also helps highlight the fight that the Liberals are going to put into Vaughan. This riding is crucial, and no matter what some naysayers and general sycophants say, the Liberals have an excellent chance to retain the riding against Conservative candidate and former top cop Julian Fantino. It does, however, require that Vaughan, Ontario, and Liberals from across the country work hard to keep up momentum and support in the riding.
If you're able to make it to the rally on Thursday, please do so - any support is good support!
