Leopards apparently can change their spots

Nova Scotia NDP MP Peter Stoffer will vote to save the long-gun registry.

Stoffer, along with Charlie Angus, have always been some of the more adamant anti-registry Dippers I've seen/heard. The fact that both have now decided to switch their votes to save it, in the face of rabid Conservative hissing and arching, is commendable. It also guarantees the fact that the registry will be saved from the supposedly "Private"Members Bill, C-391.

Congrats, Peter Stoffer - you've earned countrywide respect.
