Two Solitudes

Quebec has an adult discussion, and the proper idea of paying for IVF treatment for infertile couples through our public health system comes out of it.

France trades juvenile barbs, and ends up banning a piece of clothing on the idea that it is somehow going to "protect rights."

The differences between France and Quebec are many, and hopefully it stays this way. The Fifth Republic is not something to emulate.
