And this quarter's poll loser is....

NDP Premier Darrell Dexter of Nova Scotia, whose party managed to wrestle control from the Progressive Conservatives in 2009, winning by a landslide, only to now be two points ahead of the Nova Scotia Liberals, 37-35, led by Opposition Leader Stephen McNeil, who is also now more popular than the Premier, leading him 29-24% in the "who would make the best Premier?" category.

What makes this more interesting is the fact that there are two by-elections coming up this month, one in the nominally Liberal riding of Glace Bay, and the other in the nominally PC riding of Yarmouth.

My prediction? Liberals win both.

Or, at the very least, come close in Yarmouth, and easily take Glace Bay.
