Conservatives Vs. the Enviroment

Jim Prentice announced that the Conservative government won't create any plan to deal with climate change until everyone else has something too.

Not taking into account the fact that the Conservatives have yet to make any substantial movements towards their 2020 target, I have to ask why Prentice is saying this while he's also touting the cap-and-trade talks with the US.

The US is fairly clear on its targets, and lets be honest, if we start reduction in pollution now, ahead of other countries, then maybe we can actually get something done and, you know, sell expertise to other countries and make a buck or two.

But, it apparently it takes the worst Liberal leader ever to think up such things, rather than highly respected Conservative environment ministers.
